Cherry Walk (Jig)

This jig was composed during Lockdown in April 2020. While the 2KM restriction was in place, myself and my daughter had plenty of walks in the local area. This tune was named after the walk through the cherry blossom  trees in Kill Village.

About Caoilte Morrison

Caoilte Morrison is a flute and piano player from Rathfarnham in Dublin. He has been playing Irish traditional music for the past 17 years and during that time he has taken a focus into the more traditional aspects of Irish music. Caoilte looks up to many of the great flute players such as Kevin Henry, Dessie Wilkinson, Peter Horan, Patsy Hanly, Catherine McEvoy, Seán Gavin and Harry Bradley to name a few.

Caoilte is currently in his final year at the B.Mus course at the TUD conservatoire.
