About Aoife Kelly
Aoife Kelly is a concertina player from Dublin with a strong influence of West Clare in her music. From a family steeped in traditional Irish music, she enjoys sharing her music and musical heritage with others. A teacher at the Willie Clancy Summer School for nearly twenty years, she has played at festivals and concerts across Ireland, Europe, America and Australia.
In 2023, Aoife produced an album with her family called “A Family Tradition” and has been part of many other recordings.
Aoife is a graphic and website designer who designed this website for Sandie Purcell and she also created an Arts Council-funded website dedicated to her grandfather the well-known fiddle and concertina player John Kelly Senior, which you can see here: johnkellycapelstreet.ie
